FAQ
You've got questions? We've got answers!
Transparency is important to us.
Does it hurt?
No. A light prickle and some warmth for a minute, then an hour of pink. The needles are 33-gauge at a fixed 0.25 mm, the gentle end of at-home stamps.
Is it safe?
Yes, used as directed on clean, unbroken skin. Every head is sterile and single-use, every vial sealed until you open it. Patch-test first, and skip it if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have moderate to severe acne, eczema or rosacea.
How often do I use it?
Once a week, before bed. Sensitive skin: start every two weeks and move to weekly when your skin is happy. Not recommended more than once in seven days.
What do I do the morning after?
Rinse with cool water, a hydrating milk or barrier cream, mineral SPF. Save retinol, acids and vitamin C for two or three days.
What's in the serum?
A five-peptide complex with hyaluronic acid and ergothioneine in a water-light, fragrance-free base. No essential oils, retinoids or acids. Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis.
Can I reuse a head or save half a vial?
No, and you won't want to. A fresh sterile head and a fresh sealed vial every time is the whole point. Pat any leftover serum onto your neck and chest.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. Subscribe & Save is off by default. If you turn it on, we email you before every charge, and you can skip, pause or cancel in one click.
What if it isn't for me?
Thirty days, no risk. Contact us and we refund your money.
When am I charged?
$10 today. The rest is charged automatically to the same card on November 10, after a reminder email a week before. Cancel before then and the $10 comes straight back. Kits ship by November 30.
What do 33G and 0.25 mm mean?
33G is the gauge, the thickness of each needle: higher number, thinner needle, and 33G is at the fine end. 0.25 mm is the length, fixed at manufacture: no dial, no setting, no way to make it longer. It's the gentle end of the range, which is exactly why we chose it.
Why can I use Nemelle every week when other stamps say every two weeks?
Depth. Nemelle's head is a fixed 0.25 mm, the gentle end of at-home stamps. Across the category, directions pair shorter needles with more frequent use: 0.25 mm rollers are commonly directed two to three times a week, 0.5 mm stamps every two weeks, and clinic depths every four to six weeks. Our manufacturer directs the 0.25 mm head for use every one to two weeks.
Can I use my own serum with the head?
No. Only our sealed vials go through the heads. Actives like vitamin C, retinoids and acids are made for the surface of your skin, not for micro-channels; our serums were built for exactly this and nothing else was.
Who shouldn't use it?
Ask your doctor first, if you have moderate to severe acne, eczema, psoriasis or rosacea in the area; cold sores or any active skin infection; broken, cut, sunburnt or irritated skin; a history of keloid scarring; you're on isotretinoin or recently were; you're pregnant or breastfeeding; you've had an in-clinic treatment, injectable or peel in the area recently; you're allergic to any listed ingredient; or you're under 18.
I have sensitive skin. Can I use it?
Very likely: the ingredients that most often cause trouble aren't in the formula. Go slowly: patch-test a small area and wait 24 hours. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, ask your dermatologist first, and if your skin reacts, stop.
When will it ship?
Pre-orders ship by November 30, 2026 from our fulfillment center in the U.S. After launch, orders leave within 1 to 2 business days and typically arrive 2 to 5 business days later. US only for now. You'll get a tracking email the moment it leaves.
What happens when I run out?
We email you two weeks before your last box with a one-click reorder. Subscribe & Save is optional and off by default; if you turn it on, we email you before every charge and you can skip, pause or cancel in one click.
